Berkeley's "Bear Pact" on Sex, Alcohol, Mental Health

2/16/2015; 2 minutes

UC Berkeley incoming freshman attended a presentation addressing important issues faced by college students: sexual assault and harassment, mental health, and alcohol use. David Suratt, Berkeley's associate dean of students, welcomed students with a challenge and an invitation: to become active participants in managing the dangers of sexual violence and harassment, mental-health problems and alcohol abuse, to take responsibility for their own well-being and that of the larger campus community.
