What Do We Know about Long COVID?

6/12/2021; 73 minutes

Long COVID is a range of symptoms that can last weeks or months after first being infected or can appear weeks after infection. Long COVID can happen to anyone who has had COVID-19, even if the illness was mild, or they had no symptoms. UCSF Pulmonologist Dr. Lekshmi Santhosh explains that a comprehensive multidisciplinary approach is important to address long-term physical, pulmonary, cognitive and mental health symptoms. There is no one "long COVID." Each patient is unique but there are some common symptom clusters. Recorded on 05/25/2021. (#37138)
