The Center for Strategic & International Studies (CSIS) and UCSF Global Health Sciences held a public forum on Nov. 9, 2009, to discuss what global health means to the Bay Area and California. The forum features international as well as local leaders in global health and highlights the Bay Area and the state as centers of excellence, generating new knowledge, skills, jobs and external partnerships essential to US leadership in global health.
