Apply to Colleges

Because many colleges require an application fee, applying can be an expensive process, so choose wisely. It's a good idea to apply to three categories of schools:

"Dream" School--this is the school that you most want to attend. It may cost more, and it may be far from home, but it should provide an excellent education.

"Best Match" Schools--apply to at least two schools that best match your learning style as well as your social and academic needs.

"Safe" School--apply to at least one school to which you are almost certain to be accepted. To save money and earn college credits, many students attend a community college before going to a 4-year college or university.
