Every child has the right to a college education, and parents can help their children take advantage of that opportunity. College Bound is a series of four, 30-minute TV programs that provide practical information for parents and children to help students become academically competitive for admission to college. Episodes include: College Bound: Middle School Counts! College Bound: A Plan for Achieving in High School College Bound: Choosing a College College Bound: Admissions and Financial Aid Dr. Joseph Watson, UCSD Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, and Dr. Rudy Castruita, San Diego County Superintendent of Schools, host College Bound and bring to the program years of experience helping students succeed in San Diego county schools. Guests of the programs have special expertise in student affairs and present valuable and timely information regarding the courses and skills that can help students qualify for college admission, the financial realities of college attendance, and the myriad services available to parents and students. College Bound can be seen on UCSD-TV in San Diego or anywhere in the U.S. on UCTV if you subscribe to EchoStar Dish Network. Check the TV Schedule for programming dates and times in the months ahead.
